Leadership in times of crisis
What do you need to be able to do and who do you need to be? You must not become rigid, says one expert. You have to watch your pennies, says another. You have to be able to empathize and improvise.
Diederik van den Biggelaar and Harm Tunteler were asked to contribute to this article in NRC's leadership supplement.
The event on September 16, 2020 was a great success for us! The spacious room was filled with high quality knowledge on mergers and acquisitions.
The topic of successful transactions was explained in an accessible way. These were the speakers:
Hans Schenk on "The Merger Paradox.
Hans Spaan & Tim van Luxemburg on 'From experience-driven decisions to data-driven decisions'
Rik van Meirhaeghe on 'Value creation and destruction of M&A deals'
After a recent poll of our regular attendees at IDFA and the JBR New Year's Concert, we are very pleased to see the strong interest. Especially now!
There is a need for connection and imagination. Our "almost empty social calendar" can be filled again with safe cultural events.
Of course we follow the corona behavior protocol of the venues, the RIVM and the government. Culture and safety come first.
We are sponsor of Club IDFA, which means that every year we choose a documentary and watch it with our business relations. Last year that was the film Push by Fredrik Gertten.
Every year we organize the JBR New Year's Concert in the Grote Kerk in Naarden. The concert is performed by the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and conductor Peter Santa puts together the program.
The administrative merger between Fundis and PrivaZorg is a fact following approval by the NZa and ACM.
We assisted PrivaZorg in its strategic reorientation, the search for suitable partners and the merger negotiations with Fundis.
Together with PrivaZorg we held discussions with potential merger partners. Fundis emerged as the preferred partner.
Caspar van der Geest, Kees van Biert, Stijn Dijksterhuis and Marten Giersch supported PrivaZorg.
Mandate is part of JBR Interim Executives as of October 1. The merger creates a strong combination for interim assignments. The high quality and diversity of services to clients will be expanded. The company name Mandaat remains and the activities will be continued by Janco Duvekot and Diederik van den Biggelaar.
Welcome to the house of JBR!
