JBR M&A transaction

Allerzorg and PGZ Group

JBR acted as M&A advisor to Allerzorg.

JBR Corporate Finance's deal team consists of:
Caspar van der Geest, Thomas van Amerongen and Melvin Zandstra.

The PGZ Group has been acquired by Allerzorg

As of March 31, 2021, PGZ has been acquired by Allerzorg. This makes PGZ, like Allerzorg, part of Orpea Netherlands. PGZ specializes in the guidance and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with (a form of) autism. A team of professionals supervises and treats over 1,300 clients in the Limburg and North Brabant regions. This takes place at home, at work, at school, at a PGZ location or in one of the 18 or 18+ residential groups. People with other psychological problems can also come to the organization. For example with AD(H)D, anxiety or mood problems, compulsive behavior, a mild mental disability or PTSD.

Press Release

As of March 31, 2021, PGZ has been acquired by Allerzorg. This makes PGZ, like Allerzorg, part of Orpea Netherlands. PGZ specializes in the guidance and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with (a form of) autism. A team of professionals supervises and treats over 1,300 clients in the Limburg and North Brabant regions. For example with AD(H)D, anxiety or mood problems, compulsive behavior, a mild mental disability or PTSD.

What does the acquisition look like?

PGZ remains intact in its entirety and the agreements between clients and the organization remain in full force and effect. Thus, the takeover will not affect the care or assistance provided to clients. The offer remains the same and both the 240 employees and the management will be retained. This ensures continuity.

Why join forces?

With the new cooperation, PGZ and Allerzorg can maintain the quality of care and support and continue to develop as powerful healthcare partners. By joining forces as care providers, the continuity of both organizations is guaranteed. And the new cooperation leads to more opportunities and strength for both parties.
