Senior Consultant Corporate Finance

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Consultant Corporate Finance with a Master's degree in Business Administration or Economics.

 

Job Description

 

As a Senior Consultant you speak the language of clients. You can think out of the box and contribute to the ambition of clients. You are the pivot of the deal team. With the support of a partner or principal, you coach the team to achieve the best possible results.

The corporate finance issues relate to, for example, the valuation of companies and operations, acquisitions, or restructuring of listed companies, family businesses or investors. You will be responsible for the preparation of sales documentation, sales support and negotiations with buyers.

You will work for both national and international clients.

Your profile

  • You have completed a WO degree in the field of business administration or economics, with a Master's degree in Finance
  • You have strong analytical, numerical, communication and written skills
  • You have an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing.
  • You have experience in managing multidisciplinary teams
  • You have 4 - 7 years of experience with Corporate Finance M&A projects
  • You make a commercial contribution by winning new orders
  • You think in solutions, can switch quickly and have an interest in complex issues
  • You have experience in one or more sectors: Maritime & Offshore, Food & Agri, Healthcare, Energy & Environment, Industrial Markets and Digital Transformation & IT.

How does what does your workday look like?

You will deal with questions such as: Will investments pay for themselves? With what capital should the growth of a (family) business be financed? What is the best acquisition strategy? How can different scenarios give a picture of the value of the company? What is the added value for strategic buyers? Who are the best buyers and what is the best negotiation strategy? What effect will a merger have on company successes?

Every client is different! You'll start to immerse yourself in the subject matter and study the trajectory of what's involved. You will mainly be doing financial modeling and make razor-sharp financial analyses, draw up a plan of action and prepare for the client presentation. Your analysis will contribute to getting all scenarios complete and arriving at a responsible and firmly based decision. Supervising due diligence processes, preparing sales documentation and negotiating are also part of your duties. You will always work in multidisciplinary teams on challenging projects.
