Growth often happens outside the comfort zone. This also applies to companies: new challenges offer opportunities but the question is who dares and is able to take up the challenge? Assisting and advising clients on challenging issues as part of a team is what I get excited about. I am convinced that through hard work and by gathering the right people around you, we as JBR, together with the client, can always reach the desired strategic or financial solution. Stepping out of my comfort zone and accepting challenges have always led to good results for me on a personal level, both in sports and in my studies.
In February 2021, I started as a corporate finance intern at JBR. This was my first step into working life and I have since progressed to working student. Currently, I am completing the master's degree in Finance at the University of Groningen. During my study career, I studied in Finland for six months. Here I gained a lot of knowledge about business processes and trade in and around the Baltic Sea.
My learning curve at JBR is steep, I have learned a lot in a short time due to the personal involvement in the whole M&A process. Internal training provides the necessary skills and closes the gap between university theory and on-the-job practice.
